Booking an Appointment
Treatments
at Spa 310 are by appointment only.
Log onto
www.homespachicago.com and click “Appointments”, then
click the name of the spa in your building to schedule an appointment any time of day or night. Or call
our reservations number during office hours. A credit card must be used to
secure appointments.
Late Arrivals
We
ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so you can fill out any paperwork
and have plenty of time to undress. We also recommend taking advantage of the
steam room or sauna to warm up your muscles prior to a massage session. However, if a late arrival
is unavoidable, you may forfeit treatment time if there is an appointment
scheduled after yours. You will be charged the full price of your service.
Cancellations
24-
hour notice must be given for all treatment cancellations. No-shows and failure
to give 24- hours notice will result in the full charge of your scheduled
treatment to your credit card.
Forms of Payment
Credit cards or checks are accepted by HomeSpa. Visa and Mastercard are accepted
however a $2 service charge will be added. Please make Checks payable to
HomeSpa,LLC.
Gratuities
Gratuity
is not included in the price of your treatment and is at your discretion,
however greatly appreciated. Typical spa etiquette suggests 15%- 20%. At this
time therapists can only accept gratuity in the form of cash or a separate check. Envelopes are
provided in the treatment room for your convenience.
Gift Certificates
A
great gift for any friend or family member. Gift Certificates can be purchased
by check or credit card for any dollar amount and can be used towards any spa
service. Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Cell phones/ Jewelry
HomeSpa is not responsible for any misplaced or left jewelry. We recommend that you
remove all jewelry and leave it at home prior to your session. We also ask that
if you must bring your cell phone with you that you turn it off or put it on
silent as to not interrupt the flow of your session.
Music
Your
treatment time about YOU, and music plays an important role in creating the ideal
atmosphere for your service. We invite you to bring your own ipod with a
pre-selected playlist of your choice. Or, you may take advantage of the diverse
music selection on offer at Spa 310.
Treatment Attire
For
massage treatments you should undress (once the therapist steps out of the
room) to your comfort level- many people choose to undress completely while
others choose to leave on their underwear. Either way, you will be
professionally draped for privacy throughout the entire treatment.
Medical Considerations
Please inform your treatment therapist of any medical conditions or past injuries. Its is important to disclose this information for your continued health and safety. You will not be able to receive a massage treatments if you have a high fever, the flu, contagious skin conditions such as ringworm or measles, excessive bruising, blood clots, high blood pressure or hypertension (unless both are controlled by medication). These are just some of the conditions that prevent you from receiving treatment. If you are under a physician's care for a serious illness, you will need clearance from your Dr before any therapist can perform massage services. Further, HomeSpa will not perform prenatal massage on a client in their first Trimester. You must also have the approval of your Dr. for prenatal massage.
Inappropriate Behavior
All
services provided by HomeSpa are strictly professional and are performed by
highly qualified, licensed and insured therapists. Sessions are conducted at
the therapist’s discretion. Should any inappropriate behavior be exhibited
during the session, the therapist reserves the right to immediately end the
session and ask you to leave. You will be billed for the entire session, and
further action may be taken. Similarly, if you, the client, feels the therapist
has conducted himself or herself in an unprofessional manner, you may end the
session and contact the HomeSpa manager immediately.
Satisfaction
We
are here to serve you and provide
every client with the highest level of care and service. Please communicate
with your therapist at any time if you are uncomfortable in any way, experience
pain, would like them to adjust pressure or technique. Feel free to drift off
or remain quiet, your therapist will NOT be offended. If you have communicated
your feelings to your therapist but are still not satisfied with your service,
HomeSpa would like to know about it. Please contact us by phone, on our website
or fill out a customer feedback form on the 7 floor. We will
address your concern immediately.
